Reed, “Mr. Eliot’s Sunday Evening Postscript”

Henry Reed

Read By: Robert Pinsky

Some parodies are so excellent, and so immersed in their original, that a reader of the parody can pretty well imagine the nature of that original, thanks to the affectionate, insightful kidding of the parody. In this case, Reed well understands Eliot’s way of mingling self-deprecation with pretentiousness.
